Are you familiar with the new European Biocide Regulations (BPR)? This new legislation is relevant for those who need to protect their water bath from microbial growth and currently use concentrate to do so.

Typically, these concentrates contain biocide-active substances, and therefore, fall under BPR legislation and should be approved by the European Chemicals Agency. However, not all reagents are registered in all European countries, so there is a risk that the product you are using to protect your bath is not compliant with EU regulations. In order to help our customers stay fully compliant, VWR has recently introduced a new version of AQUA RESIST WB: a ready to use solution which conforms with current BPR legislation.
